How often should I calibrate the CI-600?
Describes how often to calibrate the CI-600 and to use the calibration tube
The CI-600 requires calibration typically every 500 scans. However, it is recommended to calibrate the CI-600 using the white calibration tube between root tubes or if there is a noticeable change in image quality. The CI-600 should be calibrated in the white calibration tube in the field before any root images are acquired.
Prior to each scan, the CI-600 software will verify the calibration data, eliminating the need to re-calibrate the root imager frequently in the field.
