CI-710 to Measure the Electron Transfer

Process to measure the electron transfer rate two ways with the CI-710

The CI-710 can be used to measure the electron transfer rate two ways...

  1. Relative measurements can be made using data collected from optical standards with known transfer rates.
  2. Absolute measurements of photons can be made by using the sensitivity factor of the spectrometer. For the CI-710 using the AvaSpec-Mini4096CLthat is 261,000 counts per uW per ms of integration time.
**The CI-710 does not have an integrating sphere, it does have two hemispheres that serve a similar roll in this application. Measurements will be imperfect but hopefully accurate enough for your chlorophyll fluorescence application.
