Viewing and downloading CI-710S files on a network

Instructions for viewing and downloading CI-710S files on a network.

The CI-710S and the computer must be on the same network. A normal/building Wi-Fi or cell phone hot spot may be used but both the computer and 710S must be connected to it.

Steps to access the 710 files:

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi. ? Settings > Wi-Fi > “choose network” >
  2. Connect Enter password if required.

    Note IP Address : for example . 192.168.1.174
  3. Open File Explorer window on computer.
  4. Open the File Explorer window after connecting the 710S to the network.
  5. Type the 710S IP address into the address bar of the File Explorer preceded by two back slashes: ex. \\192.168.1.174 , then press return. You should be presented with the “data” directory as shown below. If you have trouble connecting, close the File Explorer window, reboot the 710S and try again.
  6. Select the data directory Directories in data folder Exceptions: device runtime exception logs ExportedFiles: exported scans, calculations, and calibration files in .csv format XmlCalculations: raw calculation data. Only readable by 710S XmlMeasurements: raw measurement data. Only readable by 710S.
