How to delete the SpectraVue (CI-710s) Application Files

This procedure describes how to delete the CI-710s SpectraVue application files. This process may be necessary if the application files have become corrupted or cause unpredictable menu selection problems. The application files contain all of the CI-710s menu settings. Performing this operation does not affect any data or calculations stored on the device.

1. Turn on the device.
2. Connect the device to WiFi.
3. Open Windows Explorer on a computer that is connected to the same network as the device.
4. In the Explorer address bar type the IP address of the device preceded by \\. Example: \\192.168.1.174\data.
5. Select and delete the following two files: ApplicationSettings.xml, BakApplicationSettings.xml.
6. Turn off the device and wait at least 10 seconds.
7. Turn the device on.

The device application settings are now reset.
