How can I remove scratches from the outside of a CID BioScience root tube used with the CI-600 / 602?

Scratches on (CID Bioscience branded) root tubes are buffed out using scratch remover solutions, Novus: #3 heavy scratch remover, followed by #2 fine scratch remover. Similar products can be purchased online and may be useful to keep on-hand and it should be used with a soft, lint-free cloth.
